The senior class of 2025 is gearing up for the beloved tradition of Senior Sunrise, set to take place Friday, September 6. This annual event marks the beginning of the final year of high school for the senior class and offers a special opportunity for students to come together and celebrate the journey ahead.
Each year, the Senior Sunrise event features seniors gathering on the football field early in the morning to watch the sunrise together, symbolizing the start of a new chapter. This cherished tradition is a highlight for the graduating class and creates lasting memories for students.
This year's event promises to be a memorable occasion for all those involved!

East Duplin will host their annual Freshman Orientation on Saturday, August 17, 2024. The time of this event is still to be determined. This special event gives rising freshman and their families an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the school without the distraction of other students. The day will start off in the Fine Arts Building with a special session with administration, then students will take a tour and the day will end with lunch. All freshman and their parents/guardians are encouraged to attend this event.
