About Our School

East Duplin High School was built in 1963.  It was built to consolidate Beulaville, B. F. Grady and Chinquapin.  East Duplin got its mascot, the panther, from Beulaville and its colors, blue and white, from B. F. Grady.  The first principal of East Duplin had served as principal at Chinquapin.  Since its original construction, East Duplin High School has added several facilities including a career and technical education building, a fine arts building, a field house, a track, a new baseball field and tennis courts.
